East Crema Coffee
East Crema Coffee is a Spanish chain of coffeeshops founded in 2025. Their ethos is rooted in a passion for specialty coffee, Japanese-inspired design, and the pursuit of authentic, meaningful moments. They work closely with farmers, local businesses, and artisans to create a positive impact while serving coffee of the highest quality. I had the pleasure of collaborating closely with them on their graphic design and motion graphics.
I was asked to diagram a format for a square magazine to be published for the 5 year anniversary of East Crema Coffee, to be published in October/ November of 2025. This is what it looks like.
Project
The first project was made to showcase the history of the opening of each East Crema Coffee cafe since their first opening in 2020.
The second project in the same style was done in collaborations with an illustrator to explain through animation the process the coffee in East Crema Coffee undergoes from bean to cup.
Two mockups were created from the photo of an empty coffee box for future use.
These allow for East Crema Coffee to paste future coffee label designs into the photo while the formatting, texturing and scene colour adapt automatically.
This ensures consistency in their coffee box photos without having to print the labels and set up a scene, lighting, etc. to take a new photo.
